You’ll oversee accounting for Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Retail, manage a talented team of 2–3 direct reports, and partner with resort and regional leaders to ensure accounting accuracy, cost control, and operational excellence. You'll demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members.What You’ll Do as a Property Controller:Lead resort accounting operations for Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Retail departments.Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles including income audits, reconciliations, and variance analyses.Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in partnership with Corporate and HOA Accounting teams.Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.Oversee accounts payable, receivable, cash handling, and vendor payment processes.Partner with resort leaders to monitor expenses, labor costs, and accounting performance.Conduct cash audits, support internal audits, and ensure all accounting procedures meet company standards.Lead, train, and develop a small accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service.
